Our hearts are with our staff, patients, families and everyone in the San Gabriel Valley and throughout Los Angeles County impacted by the devesting fires.

We are continuing to provide safe, compassionate care to our community and have compiled some resources to help those who are being impacted by this disaster.

Evacuation Zones

  • Keep up to date on the current evacuation zones within the San Gabriel Valley from CalFire.
  • Get real-time fire updates and alerts on your phone from Watch Duty.

Evacuation Centers

If you are subject to emergency evacuation, you can head to the following evacuation centers:

Pasadena Convention Center at 300 E. Green St., Pasadena, CA 91101.
Parking is available at the parking structure across the street from the Convention Center, located at 155 E. Green St. Please enter from Marengo Avenue. The Humane Society is on-site to accept pets for boarding. Service animals will be allowed inside the Convention Center.

Additional shelters outside the San Gabriel Valley:

Transportation

  • Uber: Residents in Los Angeles County who’ve been ordered to vacate their homes can get a credit from Uber to get to an evacuation site. The $40 will only be valid for trips to an active shelter and by using the code WILDFIRE25.
  • Lyft: It will be offering $25 vouchers, valid for two trips, to 500 customers from now until midnight on January 15. Use the code CAFIRERELIEF25 to get the promotion.

LA Metro

  • Fare collection has been suspended systemwide.
  • Click HERE to view an interactive map of evacuation and resource centers near the Metro bus and rail system.
  • Click HERE to see the latest impacts to service due to wind and wildfires.
  • Metro Micro service in Pasadena, Altadena, and Sierra Madre has been suspended north of Woodbury Road, New York Drive and Sierra Madre Boulevard.

Temporary Housing

Airbnb: 211 LA is partnering with Airbnb to offer free temporary housing for people displaced from their homes due to wildfires. More info here.

Donations Available

For those affected by the Eaton Fire, Santa Anita Park has become a pop-up donation site where people in need can pick up food, clothing, toiletries, baby items and just about anything else to help. 285 W Huntington Drive, Arcadia.

Unsafe Drinking Water

The Eaton Fire caused damage to several City of Pasadena water reservoirs/tanks and pump stations, potentially impacting water quality. Do not drink tap water in the affected areas. Learn more here.

Utilities

Food Assistance

  • Los Angeles Regional Food Bank:  The organization working with its network of more than 600 partner agencies to assess needs during the SoCal wildfire emergency. If you need food assistance in Los Angeles County, visit their website for the nearest location.
  • World Central Kitchen: Truck offering free meals to evacuees and first responders. Visit their website.

Childcare

The YMCA is pleased to offer free childcare for children of first responders, essential workers and families who have been displaced, evacuated or who have otherwise experienced loss. Limited spaces are available. To find your nearest YMCA, please visit ymcala.org/locations.

Mental Health

If you or a loved one is struggling with a mental health crisis or considering suicide, call or text 988. You can also click here to use 988 Lifeline Chat. In cases of immediate danger, call 9-1-1.

The Los Angeles County ACCESS Center remains open and operational at this time as the entry point for mental health services, information and referrals. Call 1-800-854-7771.
