A Letter from Chief Philanthropy Officer Stuart Sullivan

The Shriners Children’s legacy is rooted in generosity.

More than 100 years ago, our system was founded with an audacious goal – to not only treat pediatric patients in extraordinary circumstances, but to also do so without any cost to their families. Since then, more than 1.5 million children have received world-class, specialty care from our physicians, nurses, therapists, and other staff.  

Unlike other healthcare organizations, the overwhelming majority of our operating budget is generated through philanthropy and our endowment. Thus, it is only through the generosity of donors that we are able to provide life-changing care for children and families.

We are grateful for every donor who assists us in fulfilling our mission. We invite you to join us in helping provide the best life possible for the next 1.5 million children.
