Speaker 1:

Shriners has really helped me become better at what I want to do. I could not run before I went to Shriners, but now I can run better and I can run faster and I am able to succeed at what I’m doing. My name is Claire and I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at five years old.

Speaker 2:

The care at Shriners is far away the best medical care we’ve had anywhere. We appreciated the child centered aspect of Shriners but also they were really really caring towards the parents, explaining everything and having no financial worry really helped. Ah when we were at Shriners, even the receptionist and the appointment desks and the and the nursing team and the POPS and the casting and everyone there was just wonderful.

Speaker 1:

I love to run now. I’m also a big swimmer and I’m also working on getting my private pilots license. Shriners has thrown open doors of opportunities that I could not really picture before that. I've just been on a trip and I've been rock climbing and I've been backpacking all over, I've been hiking and I don't think that I would be able to do those things at the level that I’m doing them without the care that I received at Shriners. I would like to say thank you to everyone at Shriners Children’s Northern California. Because of the excellent care they provided me with, and the atmosphere, the smiles that they did it with, it was not at all scary. Thank you Shriners.
