At Shriners Children’s, our compassionate, skilled social services team is with you every step of the way, helping you deal with challenges and providing the resources you need to feel encouraged and empowered.

We know challenges can occur at any moment and we’re here to support you during those tough times. Our dedicated social services team can help you manage any crisis by providing emotional support, connecting you with other families who have a child with a similar condition and enhancing communication with your medical team. They can also provide resources for financial counseling, assist in arranging housing, as well as cultural, religious, language/interpreter needs.

When your child leaves our care, our caring doesn't stop. Social services can help you plan for what happens after your child’s discharge. We coordinate with community providers and refer you to resources for transportation, equipment and anything else you may need to feel comfortable and supported for the journey ahead.

We understand your child's health and well-being is important and it should be. Let us take care of those twists and turns that life can bring.
