Serial Casting

When a joint is unable to extend or flex, one of the connected muscles may be too tight or too short. To assist in turning the joint in the correct direction, Shriners Children's orthopedic specialists offer serial casting.

ICU Level Acute Burn Care

Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy

Selective dorsal rhizotomy is a neurosurgical procedure where certain spinal nerves are selectively cut in order to reduce spasticity in legs and improve muscle development.

Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgery

In laparoscopic surgery, a surgeon makes small incisions into which small surgical tools and camera are inserted. In Robotic surgery, the surgeon uses computer controls to manipulate the robot.
