Lily has been a patient at Shriners Children's Lexington almost from the day she was born. But this did not slow her down. In 2018, Lily became a National Patient Ambassador for Shriners Children’s and continues to give back to the hospital system.

As an active gymnast, Madeline underwent a routine physical at practice one day and the examiner discovered a noticeable curve in her spine and an unevenness in her shoulders and hips. After learning of the curve, her family went to the Portland Shriners Hospital for scoliosis treatment.
