Shriners Children's Provides Care for Families Regardless of Financial Circumstances
At Shriners Children's all care and services are provided regardless of the families’ ability to pay or insurance status.
Families who are not covered under an insurance plan may be eligible for financial assistance. If your family doesn't have health insurance, our staff will make the appropriate arrangements to cover your child's medical care provided by Shriners Children's. Shriners will not discriminate against your family if you are uninsured or unable to pay medical bills. Our number one priority is to provide care for your child.
If your child is covered, please visit our Insurances Accepted page for more on how and when to provide that information to Shriners Children's.
Additional Expenses
While Shriners Children's is able to cover the cost of medical care, we can't always provide families with financial assistance for other incidentals related to their child's care.
Things like transportation, accommodations and other logistical arrangements may need to be made by your family. We have community support that can potentially help alleviate some of these costs, but these additional expenses will be your family's responsibility if charitable assistance is not available. Please contact your local Shriners Children's location for additional information about community support options.
Financial Assistance Policy
Shriners Children's provides all care and services regardless of the families’ ability to pay or insurance status. Financial assistance may be available to patients and their families and can vary by location. For more information, please consult with your location's financial counselors.
