Thomas Pressly, M.D., has been providing care for children with rheumatic conditions at Shriners Children's Shreveport since 1992. Dr. Pressly earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He underwent residency training in internal medicine through the University of Missouri in Columbus, Missouri, where he went on to complete fellowship training in immunology and rheumatology.

Soon after beginning his practice in Shreveport, Dr. Pressly began conducting clinics at the Shriners Children's Shreveport, lending his expertise to children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis and other autoimmune conditions. In 1992, Dr. Pressly founded the Jambalaya Jubilee, a family retreat for children with arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. Now nearing 30 years in operation, the Jubilee has long served as a vital source of encouragement and support to families caring for children with JIA and related conditions. In addition to this decades-long endeavor, Dr. Pressly is an active leader in Shreveport area medical societies and organizations.
