Joseph Pinter, M.D., is a pediatric neurologist who cares for children with various neurologic challenges. After medical school at UCLA, he completed residencies in pediatrics at University of Washington/Seattle Children's and Cedars-Sinai, and pediatric neurology training at the Harvard-Longwood program and Children's Hospital of Boston. He was a postdoctoral research fellow in basic neuroscience and structural/functional neuroimaging at UCSF and Stanford prior to working at University of Washington, UC Davis and OHSU, as well as consulting at Shriners Children's Portland.

At Shriners Children's, Dr. Pinter sees patients with spina bifida from prenatal consults until adulthood, helping to manage neurologic and other medical problems. His goal is to help patients and their families understand their conditions and manage them well, so that they can achieve their optimal health and development.
