Biography

Molly A. O'Gorman, M.D., is a professor of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at the University of Utah. She is the medical director of the Pediatric Dysphagia Program and of the EDDIE Clinic (Elimination Disorders, Diagnosis of Incontinence and Encopresis) at Primary Children's Medical Center. Dr. O'Gorman received her M.D. from State University of New York. She completed her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. She is board certified in pediatric gastroenterology and is a member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (NASPGHN). She also is a member of the American Partnership for Eosinophilic Diseases (APFED). Dr. O'Gorman has great interest in eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases and is conducting clinical research in the disorder of eosinophilic esophagitis. She is also involved in the Pediatric Liver Transplant program directed by Linda S. Book, M.D., and continues to see inpatients and outpatients with complicated liver diseases.
