Biography

Patrick Massey, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at Shriners Children's Shreveport. Dr. Massey earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College (Sidney Kimmel Medical College) in Philadelphia. He underwent residency training in orthopedic surgery at LSU Health in Shreveport, which included a rotation at Shriners Children's Shreveport. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital in Texas.

Dr. Massey is dual board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. His areas of focus include cartilage repair and restoration, pediatric anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, patellofemoral realignment, meniscus repair and biologics.
