Emily Madder, MS, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist from Erie, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, followed by a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2011. Emily has a well-rounded background, treating adults and pediatrics across various settings, including outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care and in-the-school setting.

Emily excels in specialty clinics including hand and limb clinics, as well as wheelchair seating and positioning. She is a member of the Association of Children's Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics. Emily has completed extensive training in evaluation, treatment and use of prosthetic devices. She has also had substantial training with wheelchair seating and positioning, working with local vendors to facilitate independence in activities of daily living and community mobility. She evaluates for complex seating needs, in addition to adaptive equipment for within the home.

Emily has treated individuals with limb differences, orthopedic conditions, neurological and genetic diagnoses, developmental delays, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, Down syndrome, sensory processing disorders and other varied diagnoses.

Emily found a passion with pediatrics early on, and has developed a love for prosthetic accommodations and the technological advances of prosthetics.
