Anne Marie Dumaine, M.D., is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Shriners Children's Lexington. Areas of special interest for Dr. Dumaine include all aspects of pediatric orthopedics, especially neuromuscular conditions, clubfoot, hip dysplasia and traumatic injuries.
Dr. Dumaine is a Kentucky native, born and raised in a small town in Northern Kentucky before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Transylvania University. She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve in Cleveland. She then completed a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Texas Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas.
Dr. Dumaine chose to pursue a career in pediatric orthopedics because kids are awesome! And she loves the opportunity to impact kids early in life and optimize their well-being.
