Allison J. DiPlacido, D.N.P., is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner who joined the Shriners Children’s Erie team in 2024. She received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Gannon University and went on to earn master’s and doctorate degrees in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh.
Throughout her healthcare career, Allison has worked in various disciplines, including medical intensive care, family practice, school nursing, education and nursing. In addition to Shriners Children’s Erie, Allison also currently works in Level 3 and 4 neonatal intensive care units in both Erie and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Allison has a special interest in infants and the conditions that affect them, such as torticollis and plagiocephaly, developmental delay and feeding difficulties.
