Christine Betancourt, PA-C, MPAS, earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from The George Washington University prior to earning a bachelor’s degree in health science and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Touro College Manhattan in 2014.
She began her physician assistant career in pediatric orthopedics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, New York, prior to relocating to Erie, Pennsylvania, with her family in 2017. At Shriners Children’s Erie, Christine specializes in pediatric orthopedics, including fracture care and sports orthopedics. She has presented on various pediatric orthopedic topics nationally and internationally, including at the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America in Barcelona, Spain, and at the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
When she is not working, Christine enjoys spending time with her family and her two children.
