Tayne Christiansen, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist in the rehabilitation department at Shriners Children’s Erie. She attended West Virginia University to acquire a Bachelor of Science in communication sciences and disorders before moving back to her hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania, to attend Edinboro University for graduate school. She received her Master of Arts in speech-language pathology and developed her passion for working with children of all ages who have a variety of disorders.
Prior to joining Shriners Children’s, Tayne worked with early intervention (birth to 3 years old) in the Erie County area. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Tayne loves helping children and families reach their goals and seeing the progress made between each therapy session. Her goal is to improve children’s communication skills in a fun and innovative way while creating a safe and compassionate environment to learn in.
