Shriners Children's 2025 Rose Parade Float Building Highlights

Participating in our 14th consecutive Rose Parade is so important to spreading the word about Shriners Children. On New Year's Day, our story, Hope Shines On, will be spread to over 500,000 people in personal attendance at the parade.
We got to walk in and then just be immediately immersed in all the incredible floats. Then I've been able to meet some of the awesome volunteers that have been dedicating their days and hours to doing it, and placing some moss on the float, and some flowers, and getting in people's way and blaming it on other people if I made a mistake.
Shriners [inaudible 00:00:45] are here from all over the world. Today, we had nearly 80 volunteers working on the Shriners Children's float. It was incredible seeing everybody like little ants on a hill.
If Shriners is involved, I know that I'm going to have a great day. They saved my life when I was eight, and now here I am at 20 getting on the float and doing all the little details.
The theme this year for the Rose Parade for Shriners Children is Hope Shines On.
It's an oasis. We have a boat, we have tropical flowers. Our float is the example of the growth that blossoms into all of our children as they're treated at Shriners Children.
Coming from Montreal, it's like sort of life goals, checking stuff off the bucket list. I'm super excited to be here and the fact that I get to do it to represent Shriners, to go and see my buddy Alec that I haven't seen for over five years.
One of my favorite things about this year's float is the fact that it's wheelchair accessible and that it has a ramp for me and Kaleb. Shriners Children's prioritizing our ability to be able to be comfortable is so kind.
And at Shriners Children, we believe that every kid deserves to have the best day ever, every day.
