A Hero's Farewell from Shriners Children's Greenville

A Hero's Farewell from Shriners Children's Greenville

After a 10-week stay in the hospital, Daniel was given a hero's farewell by his friends at Shriners Children’s Greenville. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy, the teen underwent life-changing surgery at the hospital followed by intensive therapy with the rehabilitation staff. Once partially dependent on a wheelchair – Daniel, who had no access to this level of medical expertise in his home country of El Salvador – is on his way to reaching his goal of walking unaided. Just because miracles happen every day at our hospital doesn’t mean we ever tire of celebrating them!
