Teen with Scoliosis Aspires to Inspire Others

When Ka‘iulani first learned she had scoliosis, she feared everything would change in a bad way. But the team at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Honolulu made the experience a positive one for the teen and her family. From bracing services to physical therapy, everything they needed was at the Honolulu Shriners Hospital. And her care team was always there to answer every question and ease any concerns. Now, Ka‘iulani wants to be a role model and help kids who have scoliosis so they know that they don’t need to be scared and that they’re strong enough to get through it.
