Celebrating National Case Management Week

National Case Management Week is October 11-17 and Shriners for Children Medical Center — Pasadena recognizes our care managers for providing guidance, support and advocacy for our patients and families through their health care journey. Our care managers Jamelet Rendo, RN, BSN, CCM; Monica Calfa, RN, BSN, CCM; and Alma Reyes, RN, BSN, CCM, coordinate and connect kids and families with the resources they need with compassion and dedication.

Together, our care managers have a combined 29 years of service to Shriners for Children Medical Center. Jamelet has been part of the team for 18 years. She started as a floor nurse and transitioned into case management in 2008. Monica has been a part of the team since 2018 and recently joined the case management team in June of this year, but has 19 years of health care experience. Alma has been with the team for nine years and transitioned from being a care coordinator to a care manager in 2016.

Happy National Case Management Week to Jamelet, Monica and Alma. Thank you for the hard work and compassion, and for delivering the best care and service to our patients.
