Born and raised in upstate New York, Debbie Song, M.D., graduated magna cum laude from Harvard before entering medical school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. There, she developed an interest in neuroscience and completed her neurosurgical residency at the University of Michigan. She completed her pediatric neurosurgical fellowship in Dallas, Texas at UT Southwestern/Children's Medical Center.

Dr. Song enjoys the challenges and rewards of pediatric neurosurgery, which combines both technical and artistic skill. Her practice with children allows her to follow patients and their families throughout their crucial developmental years, and she continues to follow many of them after they reach adulthood.
