Biography
Vincent Prusick, M.D., is a pediatric orthopedic specialist at Shriners Children's Lexington. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, and completed his residency at the University of Kentucky and a fellowship at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. He officially joined the team at the medical center in 2018, but he also served as a resident at the medical center before that. Areas of special interest to Dr. Prusick include spinal deformity, hip dysplasia and trauma.
He is also an assistant professor of pediatric orthopedic surgery and pediatrics at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Prusick said he loves working at Shriners Children's Lexington "because of the opportunity to treat a wide variety of conditions, the interactions I get to have with my patients and their families, and work with an amazing team."
In his free time, Dr. Prusick enjoys spending time with his wife and kids (two humans, two dogs and a horse). He said they enjoy visiting parks around town and swimming.
