Christopher L. Montgomery, MD
- Anesthesiology
- English
Christopher (Kit) Montgomery, M.D., MS's interest in medicine began at an early age when he spent a good deal of time noticing and thinking about his neighbor, who at the time, was a professor of dermatology at NYU. He had a calm, caring attitude and incredible work ethic. Dr. Montgomery's interest continued to grow following a move to western Pennsylvania where he attended Washington and Jefferson College. A two-year stint gaining a Master of Science in toxicology before medical school further helped his development through disciplined basic research and writing, along with giving him a deeper appreciation of medications and how they work.
Dr. Montgomery is honored to be part of such a caring organization as Shriners Children's. For him, there is no higher aspiration then helping children navigate a medical course where comfort and caring are paramount. His board certifications in pediatric anesthesiology and pain management help him ensure each patient encounter is optimized in alleviating pain, anxiety and suffering in patients and their caregivers.
