Biography

Dylan Kluck, M.D., is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Shriners Children’s Lexington and Assistant Professor of Pediatric Orthopedics at the University of Kentucky. He provides general pediatric orthopedic care but has a specific interest in lower limb deformities and deficiencies, hip dysplasia, clubfoot, traumatic injuries and neuromuscular conditions. He is currently involved in research pertaining to skeletal maturity assessment in the setting of leg length discrepancy.

He graduated with high distinction from the University of California, Berkeley and earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at University of California, San Diego and pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Kluck is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America and the Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society.

"From the moment that I was exposed to pediatric orthopedic surgery early in medical training, I realized my passion for helping to heal and improve the function of children. It is truly rewarding being able to play a role in returning a kid or young adult to the activities that they enjoy and in improving the quality of life for a child with a chronic orthopedic condition. Pediatric orthopedic surgery is unique in that a successful outcome depends equally on the patient, the family and the physician and I appreciate the opportunity to be involved in this partnership. There is never a dull moment in the pediatric orthopedic surgery clinic and the energy and enthusiasm of my patients keeps me excited to come to work every day."
