Stephen J. Grud, D.D.S. is an orthodontist consultant with the craniofacial and plastic surgery teams at Shriners Children's Chicago. He is also in private practice in suburban Chicago.

After receiving his dental degree from Northwestern University Dental School, Dr. Grud continued his postgraduate study in orthodontics and earned his certification in the field, as well as a Master of Science degree in oral biology, from Northwestern. He is board certified.

Having worked as an assistant clinical professor at Northwestern for eight years, Dr. Grud served as director of orthodontics for three of those years.

Dr. Grud's extensive training, coupled with his many years of clinical teaching experience, ensures that his patients will be given the highest quality of care at our office. His charismatic personality creates a positive atmosphere where patients will feel welcomed from the moment they step into the office. Dr. Grud is passionate about improving each patient's overall dental health.

Dr. Grud is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Midwestern Society of Orthodontists, Illinois Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society.

He does volunteer work with the Berwyn Health Department and enjoys a multitude of sports, including hockey, swimming, golf and baseball. He also coaches hockey and baseball, and enjoys remote control cars and planes in his spare time.
