Dr. Gomez is an orthopedic surgeon at the Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico.
He graduated as a medical surgeon from the Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla, Mexico.
He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Central Hospital of the Mexican Red Cross.
He completed his subspecialty in pediatric orthopedics at the Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where he specialized in pediatric orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Gomez’ areas of interest include pediatric trauma, infantile cerebral palsy, foot and hip pathologies, and Osteogenesis Imperfecta.
He is a member of the Mexican Society of Pediatric Orthopedics (SMOP), of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS); of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America (POSNA) and the AO Foundation.
Dr. Gomez currently takes part in a program from the Motion Analysis Lab.
