Haluk Altiok, M.D., is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Shriners Children’s Chicago. He manages multidisciplinary clinics in in spina bifida, cerebral palsy and arthrogryposis, and has further interests in clubfoot, foot deformities, hip disorders and hip dysplasia, and limb lengthening and reconstruction. Dr. Altiok is an associate professor at Rush University School of Medicine in Chicago and a lecturer at both the Loyola University department of orthopaedics in Chicago and at UI Health in Chicago department of orthopaedics.
Dr. Altiok sees his education in medicine as part of a mission to help others. To him, children are the heart of this mission, as they represent much-needed hope for the future.
