And overall, our whole employees had decreased from 150 to 450. We tripled the amount of employees, nurses and OR nurses. I mean, the whole staff.
Dr. Richard L. Cruess, Chief of Staff Emeritus (1970-1982): There is nothing that I have done or been associated with that has been more meaningful than my time as chief surgeon and continued association.

Dr. Francis Glorieux, Director of Research Emeritus - Founded the Research Centre in 1973: What we have to do is to care for the children. And what I love about them is that, which is very different from adult patients, they never complain. They all still look at positive things about them, and that's wonderful.
Dr. Rene St-Arnaud, Director of Research: Where we are present right now, we are sitting on the verge of an exciting, additional 100 years of discovery and new treatments for our patients.
Kelly Thorstad, Director of Nursing and Patient Services: That's why we're here. We want to make sure that that experience is everything positive, better, and that we can minimize any pain and anxiety.
Gary McKeown: From our earliest days to the present, our mission has never wavered. To every patient, family, donor, and staff member who has shaped this journey, thank you.
