Natalie Raleigh Joins the Salt Lake City Shriners Hospital
New Nurse Executive Committed to Exceptional Care
The leadership team at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City is pleased to announce Natalie Raleigh, RN, MSN, CCM, is the new director of patient care services/nurse executive.
Natalie is an experienced health care leader with more than 22 years of nursing experience. She approaches leadership with an open mind and a focus on a team approach while helping to develop staff members in a way that maximizes their individual strengths. She takes great pride in striving to build a culture of excellence, teamwork, patient safety and employee satisfaction.
“Three words Natalie uses to describe herself are motivated, compassionate and collaborative,” said Kevin Martin, hospital administrator. “We saw those qualities in effect on day one, as she quickly acclimated to her new job and fit right in.”
Natalie appreciates that the Shriners Hospitals for Children system strives to be the best at transforming children’s lives by providing exceptional health care through innovative research in a patient and family-centered environment. “I love interacting with our patients,” said Natalie. “They always have smiles on their faces and a genuine appreciation for the care that they receive with us here at the Salt Lake City Shriners Hospital.”
Some of Natalie’s goals in her new position are to continue to help grow the hospital’s local and international outreach programs. “I want Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City to continue to provide exceptional, compassionate health care to as many children as we can,” said Natalie.
From her early exposure to nursing as a certified nursing assistant and licensed practical nurse, to her most recent position as the director of nursing at Jordan Valley Medical Center – West Campus, Natalie is ready for her newest position with Shriners Hospitals for Children.
“I am truly honored and extremely excited to be a part of the Shriners [Hospitals] family,” said Natalie. “I look forward to continuing to provide the utmost exceptional care for our patients and families with this extraordinary group of health care professionals.”
Many thanks to Debbie Mitchell, RN, who did an excellent job taking on additional responsibilities as interim nurse executive in the months leading up to Natalie joining the team.
