Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon Dresses Up Every Day in October for Halloween

Why wait till Halloween to dress up as your favorite spooktacular characters? Our very own creative and spirited Selina Poon, M.D., MPH, MS, a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Shriners for Children Medical Center — Pasadena, has dressed up in a Halloween costume almost every day this October. Her Halloween pediatric pride has become an annual tradition at the medical center. The staff really looks forward to her costumes every year, and her patients love seeing her Halloween spirit as she tends to them.

"It started a few years ago. I had so many costumes from over the years," said Dr. Poon.

Thank you Dr. Poon for your unwavering holiday spirit, especially during this unprecedented year. You bring so many smiles to the children we serve every day.

Happy Halloween!
