For the first Monthly Mugs of 2025, Ann Hoffman, PT, DScPT, will discuss physical therapy management of congenital muscular torticollis.

The objectives of this webinar are:

  • Review the American Physical Therapy Association Clinical Practice Guidelines for the management of congenital muscular torticollis (CMT).
  • Discuss the referral process and treatment protocols for CMT at the Shriners Children’s Twin Cities physical therapy department.
  • Recognize the importance of early diagnosis and timely referral to optimize outcomes in the resolution of CMT.
  • Explain the association between CMT and the development of positional plagiocephaly.
