A pressure injury is damaged skin typically over a bony area or medical device. People with decreased sensation or who can’t reposition themselves are at greater risk. We treat with dressings, negative pressure therapy and surgery.

A fixed tightening of muscle, tendons, ligaments, or skin which prevents normal movement of the associated body part. An injury such as a severe burn can cause contracture of the skin.

Hydronephrosis is the swelling of one or both kidneys, which occurs when urine backs up into the kidney(s) and cannot properly drain into the bladder.
