Two nurses from Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California will meet with parents and families at the Hand-Up Resource Fair in Carson City, Nev., from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 8. The event takes place at Mills Park, 111 E. William Street. Donald Neal, R.N., and Charleen Singh, R.N., will introduce participants to services provided by the Shriners regional pediatric medical center in Sacramento, which serves families throughout Nevada, including Reno and Carson City. The first 100 visitors to the Shriners Hospital booth will receive a tote bag with the hospital logo.
Located just minutes from downtown Sacramento, Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California provides comprehensive, compassionate care to children with orthopaedic conditions, spinal cord injuries, burns, cleft lip, scars from any cause and other complex surgical needs.
