Shriners Hospital Invites Kids to Art-Spress themselves at the State Fair

Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California will lead a collaborative art project at the California State Fair on Wednesday, July 22, beginning at 10 a.m. Art-Spress Yourself in a Feztastic Way themes the interactive activity that will be led by Shriners Hospital staff and volunteers in the youth arts building at the fair.

Participants will be invited to create a giant collage that is an artistic representation of the fez, the distinctive hat worn by the Shriners, the fraternal organization responsible for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Visitors also will discover innovative ways in which Shriners Hospital patients express themselves through an exhibit of paintings done by Shriners Hospital patients.
