On Saturday, June 3, friends of Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California will gather in Sacramento to participate in a Walk for Love. The event celebrates the 20th anniversary of the formal dedication of the hospital that took place in June 1997.

The 1.5 mile fun walk takes participants on a morning stroll that begins and ends at the Shriners Hospital in Sacramento, where all invited to enjoy a Shrine Day celebration featuring plenty of food, fun and entertainment.
The official start time is 10 a.m. Shriners will lead the “parade”, followed by patients, families and supporters of Sacramento’s only stand-alone children’s hospital. Shrine clowns, Keystone Cops, bands and others will provide entertainment. Fezzy, the Shrine mascot, will greet kids of all ages and host a teddy bear workshop for youngsters.
All participants will receive a Walk for Love t-shirt along with fun and memories to last a lifetime.You, too, can join the celebration.
