Fund for Innovation accelerates hope for children

We are so grateful to the Greater Sacramento New Car Dealers Association (GSNCDA) for their profound commitment to our hospital and the health and well-being of all children in our communities. Through their Accelerate Hope campaign, established in 2013, the GSNCDA pledged $1,000,000 to establish the Fund for Innovation, a permanent endowment fund for pediatric research at Shriners Hospital in Sacramento.

Today, we received a gift ogreatersactyposter2013v2ef $100,000. This is the fifth installment in fulfilling their pledge. The GSNCDA intends their funds to accelerate hope for injured and sick children throughout the region who require treatment for serious injuries or complex congenital conditions at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Nothern California. The fund allows doctors and scientists in the Institute of Pediatric Regenerative Medicine (IPRM) to work collaboratively in their quest for cures – ultimately with the hope that treatment is no longer necessary for many current conditions.

Congratulations and thank you to the member dealers, media partners and suppliers who are the GSNCDA, and their customers.

  1. Wow, all I have to say is wow, that’s an incredibly generous donation. We had a cousin who passed from aggressive cancer when she was 18 so it always makes me happy to see people donate to causes that might prevent that from happening in the future. Thank you for sharing.
