We want to make the referral process to Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California as simple as possible. Any child under 18 is eligible for care if the child’s condition is within the scope of services provided. As a regional pediatric medical center, the Northern California Shriners Hospital serves children throughout the Western United States, Northwestern Mexico, and Canada.
To refer a patient to Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California, contact a referral coordinator and you will be guided through the admission process or complete the referral form and fax to our Referral Center.
Children with severe burns and other emergent needs are admitted through a physician-to-physican referral. The referring physician should contact the physician-on-call by calling 916-453-2111.

24-Hour Physician Coverage.
