Fatema Lakhani Iqbal, M.D., is the musculoskeletal pediatrician at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California, where she is devoted to making a positive impact on the health and welfare of children through pediatrics and non-operative orthopaedics. One of only a handful of nonoperative pediatric orthopedists in the nation, Dr. Iqbal evaluates, diagnoses, and treats gait concerns, limb abnormalities, fractures, scoliosis and other pediatric musculoskeletal conditions. She also provides pediatric clinical consultation to the orthopaedic and burns teams. She has strong clinical interests in injury prevention, preventive health, and development. As a staff physician, Dr. Iqbal also is involved in clinical education of residents. Dr. Iqbal also is Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Davis School of Medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics and holds a Master’s Degree in Child Development.
