Who Is Fit to Participate?

The BikeFit Exercise Program is open to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California patients 5 – 18 years old with a desire to improve their physical function and have fun!  All patients who meet the requirements are invited to participate in the BikeFit Exercise Program.

Bike Fitting

By appointment in the Physical Therapy Department at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California. Bike measuring and fitting will take place in the front circle and in our 1st Floor Auditorium.

Friday, March 9th, 1:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 10th, 8 a.m. to Noon

BikeFit Kick-Off

Friday, June 21, 10 – 11:30 a.m., 1st Floor Auditorium
Meet the coaches as they outline what activities are in store for you. And while you are here, we’ll share tips regarding good sports nutrition prepared by our clinical dietitians.

BikeFit Exercise Program

Friday, August 2, 9

Time:  10 – 11:30 a.m.
Where: Activities to be held in 1st Floor Auditorium and in the front circle.

Each 90-minute session will start with a group warm-up, followed by practice on a cycling skills course with one-on-one coaching, and finishing with a group cool-down all led by Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California physical therapists, and recreation therapist.
